Data were collected through in-depth interviews with managers from six prominent five-star hotels in Sri Lanka which implement green supply chain management practices. Thematic analysis was used to examine the interview data. Findings reveal a positive relationship between green supply chain management practices and organizational performance. The hospitality industry in Sri Lanka is increasingly committed to sustainability through waste reduction, energy efficiency, and community engagement. The study emphasizes benefits such as enhanced reputation, cost savings, and competitive advantage. It also aligns with key sustainable development goals, including good health and well-being, decent work and economic growth, sustainable cities, and responsible consumption & production. This research offers valuable insights for hospitality professionals, aiming to improve performance and industry standing. | |
